As the Senior Security Analyst, you will be integral to enabling our people to do their best work safely and securely, no matter where in the world they are.In this role, you will be involved in a diverse range of security and safety risk management activities. You will support the Head of Protective Security in uplifting and delivering Canva’s global travel safety and security program, including the delivery of travel risk assessments and guidance. Maintaining global situational awareness of events that may impact the safety of our people, you’ll help coordinate Canva’s response processes when activated in the event of an external physical crisis.This role may infrequently involve work during non-core business hours, in response to major global safety or security events.Role Responsibilities:Working across Canva to develop and implement travel security policies and procedures, providing guidance to travellers, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols in various travel destinations.Maximising the use of our tools and external vendor partnerships, to monitor global events that may impact our people and travellers, alerting stakeholders as needed.Being integral to Canva’s response to sudden and fast-moving geopolitical or physical crises that may impact our people’s safety.Assessing destination risks from a health, environment, and security perspective to deliver assessments as needed; assessing country or travel risks and providing relevant guidance.Supporting the design and delivery of enterprise-wide people security and safety programs, as the Protective Security team scales globally.Required Experience:Strong background in security management, crisis response and risk management.Conducting a diverse range of travel risk assessments or country/geopolitical analysis.Creating travel safety and security processes; providing security guidance to travellers or remote workers.Experience with travel risk management provider(s) or using similar tooling.Managing cross-functional relationships and groups to accomplish program and operational objectives.Background includes supporting a globally diverse workforce, ideally in a corporate, multi-site environment.Beneficial Experience:Understanding of travel security technology and capabilities.A global network of contacts in global security, risk, crisis response etc.Experience with security intelligence tools and vendors.What's in it for you?Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard - and we do - but you'll experience lots of moments of magic, connectivity and fun woven throughout life at Canva, too.
