The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations procedures and executing business plans for their category/customer base.You are responsible for achieving DIFOT (Delivery in full on time) as well as managing stock levels and ensuring stock turn rates are maximised.This will be achieved by effectively collaborating with your internal stakeholders, including Design, Brands, Sales and R&D, and external vendors and customers, across several sites domestically and globally.What will my day to day look like? Collaborate with supply base, planning, logistics and demands to achieve DIFOT targetsFacilitate and lead supply and demand meetingsStreamline customer ordering cycles and lead timesWork closely with Hanes Logistics team to ensure smooth operations between supply and the customerTroubleshoot concerns with seasonal and basic delivery timelinesWhat experience do I have? A huge priority for us is finding a confident and natural communicator, who is really comfortable liaising and working across very different teams and bringing others on the journeyYou have a background in project management (or have exceptional organisational skills) and can effectively plan and lead people and projects from start to finishFactory experience in the apparel sector is advantageousAn understanding of LEAN principles would be hugely beneficialWe need someone who is highly analytical – there will be the requirement to deep dive into high volumes of data to get to the root of problems, and you must be a strong Excel userWhat's in it for me?
