About the Role The Parks and Open Space Team provides delivery of maintenance activities related to Townsville's existing public infrastructure within parks, open spaces, including cemeteries. These areas provide a range of services including recreational and cultural activities for both residents and visitors across the Townsville Region. As the public image of the section, this role is critical in maintaining Council's image as efficient, effective, professional, and customer-focused.
This role will perform labouring activities within Anderson Gardens which includes mowing, whipper snipping, pruning, and plantings. Pride in your work and willingness to interact with the public on a daily basis are essential in this high-profile botanical garden.
About You To be eligible to apply for these roles, you must have a Manual 'C' class licence and a Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).
