The Project Manager Position sits within the Project team and will lead designated corporate project delivery, with a focus on specific capabilities, capacity, security and maturity uplift.
This role is a 12-month fixed term Project Manager position, to support the implementation of 1) Bank Integration program (incl. products, services, data, and staff into Bank Australia business) and 2) Securitisation Uplift program, phase 1 - establish in new capital efficient warehouse, and phase 2 - launch a new public Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS) product and program.

What you will be doing
* Support the Program manager/Program Director in the facilitation of Stream lead meetings and Program leadership meetings and Executive Sponsor meetings.
* Support the preparation of discussion papers, procedures, templates and Steering Committee packs.
* Manage regular project working groups, with minutes, follow up on tasks and actions as needed.
* Undertake research and technical assessments where required, and lead the development of program artefacts with a high standard of quality and compliance.
* Project Planning including: program plans, resource plans, stream design/setup/management, current state/future state mapping, and program road mapping.
* Manage stakeholders who have a vastly different level of technical competence.
* Managing project progress and milestones as planned, adapting plans as required. Constantly reviewing plans to support accelerated delivery and compliance.
* Support/lead vendor evaluation, RFP, selection and management of a new vendor/s to the business.
* Adopt and improve Risk Management processes with the objective of ‘no surprises’.
* Ensure all projects are reviewed and lessons learnt captured and considered in any further process improvements.
* Executive and Board Reporting and presentation as required.
What you will bring
* Demonstrable experience working on/leading Business-related projects in Financial Services (migration/digitisation/new product development).
* Demonstrable experience with leading complex projects.
* Demonstrable experience leading a team of resources to deliver outcomes.
* Demonstrable experience in the coordination and facilitation of testing, developing test plans and managing end user testing.
* Ability to communicate strategic and technical/complex concepts with clarity to stakeholders across all levels of technical competence.
* Demonstrable experience in understanding the impacts of change management.
* Ability to work autonomously across multiple initiatives.
* Flexibility to travel to both regional and interstate locations.
* Sound understanding of technology and integration.
* Project related qualification (a must) and or Degree qualified (preferred).
