An opportunity is available to work with industry leaders in a modern office environment with a fun team who provide exceptional customer service.The role of the Commercial Sales & Leasing Associate is an integral part of the LJ Hooker Commercial recipe for success and would include assisting our senior sales and leasing executives to maintain and grow their business while also learning what it takes to be successful in commercial real estate.The Role: In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing direct support to experienced commercial sales and leasing executives and, as required, you may also need to support the other property-related areas of the business.A major requirement of this fast-paced position will be to ensure that all necessary support tasks associated with the sale and leasing of commercial, retail, and industrial real estate are carried out in an efficient, expedient, and professional manner.You will be expected to demonstrate commitment, loyalty, and an ability to work as an enthusiastic team member in accordance with company routine and procedures.Principal Accountabilities will include but not be limited to: Management of regular communication with previous buyers, sellers, lessors, and lessees through the database.High level of customer service and driven attitude.Accurate maintenance and recording of database information.Proactive and systematic prospecting calls to clients.Identifying appraisal and proposal opportunities.Communication with Vendors, Buyers, Solicitors, Valuers, and key stakeholders.Assisting in the preparation of canvassing material, mail outs, and any other correspondence associated with office listings, leasing, and sale of property.Market research as required.Ensure control and accuracy of documentation associated with listing, leasing, and sale of properties.Co-ordinate with the administration staff the advertising and marketing material for individual properties within the required time frame.At the direction of members of your team, consult with clients, agents, prospects, and other parties to ensure the smooth progress of leasing and sales deals in an efficient and timely manner.Co-ordinating and attending inspections as instructed.To be successful in this position you will be required to meet the following essential selection criteria:Excellent computer skills and computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office packages, including experience to an advanced level in Word and intermediate Excel.Professional presentation and communication skills; written & verbal.Motivated by challenging and competitive environments.Exceptional work ethic and reliability.High integrity, strong professionalism, and excellent customer service.Experience and/or knowledge of the commercial property market or other property-related area is preferable, however, not essential.Have a current real estate registration certificate or willing to obtain one.Current driver's license and good reliable car.This role will appeal to anyone looking for a long-term career in real estate!
