This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We’re in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more.Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We’re currently hiring an experienced Retail Credit Analyst to join our Operations team to review and decision retail credit applications. You’ll have a great deal of ownership and autonomy in this role in helping us design and scale our internal process and implement the relevant systems required.What you’ll do:Review loan applications and decision credit override requests within established turn-time requirements.Support Underwriting system development by completing test plans, tracking progress, ensuring stakeholders are updated, and issues are escalated in accordance with the set plan.Underwrite loan contracts that meet regulatory standards and review verification items such as proof of income and identification documents.Monitor dealer performance activity and maintain dealer watch list.Ensure issues are escalated in accordance with internal policies.Support other functions within the Operations department with pre-launch case testing as required.Assist with the drafting of Process and Procedure documents and support with training for new team members.Demonstrated previous experience working as Credit Analyst or in a similar position for ideally 2+ years.Thorough funding and loan documentation knowledge.Thorough knowledge of the credit/review process and credit analysis.FiServ/Defi knowledge preferred (or knowledge of automated credit decision systems).Thorough knowledge of compliance laws as related to retail consumer lending, contracting and funding.Demonstrated strength in organizational, planning and analytical abilities.Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.What we offer you :)A flexible hybrid working environment.Competitive base salary & bonus structure.Access to our Employee Assistance Program.14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers.The opportunity to build the company from the ground up!A fun and collaborative team with great work life balance.Employee Car Benefit Scheme.HCAU is an equal opportunity employer.
