The Opportunity Bajara Plant Hire is seeking an energetic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Working directly with the Managing Director, this role is integral to the success of our business and will play a leading role in driving new opportunity in civil contracting and plant hire sales and growing company revenue. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our key clients/prospects and understand their civil contracting and plant hire needs. Join a supportive team culture that works together to continuously improve our working environment.Roles and Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects.Identify opportunities for new sales, account expansion and revenue growth.Nurture a portfolio of prominent clients/prospects and build/pursue a pipeline of new opportunities.Prepare and submit tenders, EOIs and quotes. Negotiate with key clients/prospects.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.Prepare sales pipeline and regular reports on account status, revenue, and growth opportunities.Required Skills, Experience and Attributes Proven experience in a sales management role within the civil contracting, mining and/or heavy plant hire industry.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiating skills/experience with large clients (e.g. construction, civil, mining, resources).Ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders, including an existing network.You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and you're driven to achieve your set sales targets.Valid Driver's License (Unrestricted).We are seeking a motivated and results-orientated individual that is eager to make a positive contribution to an emerging industry leader.
