Location is Wingfield, SAPermanent full time roleCompetitive pay rateOur Client is an Adelaide-based engineering company specialising in steel fabrication and structural erection within both the commercial and residential sectors. With over 30 years of experience, they have completed thousands of projects across Australia.Schedule: Full-time, 38-hour week, Monday – Friday + weekend roster.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate workshop team (20-30 people), ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time.Oversee work allocation, equipment requests, and compliance with quality standards and schedules.Conduct boilermaking quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.Support recruitment and HR processes as needed.Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and adherence to procedures through Toolbox meetings and inspections.Ensure proper use and security of tools, machinery, and workplace areas.Assist in production meetings and drive continual improvement initiatives.Conduct preventative maintenance and quality inspections, addressing non-conformances.Demonstrate leadership, communication, and commitment to safety and quality standards.Requirements:Certificate III in Engineering (Boilermaker/Fabrication)Minimum 2 years supervising or leading a workshop team.Strong heavy structural experience.Strong leadership skills and workshop experience.Knowledge of overhead cranes and equipment maintenance.Experience in boilermaking quality checks.Commitment to safety and quality compliance.**Only candidates living in Australia with full work rights will be considered.**If you're a motivated leader with workshop experience, apply now and contribute to our high-quality projects!
