Our Business Advisory division is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team in our Albury office!
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of clients within a fun and motivated team. Please note that we also encourage talented Accountants to apply as we are able to accommodate for the right candidate.
What will your typical week look like?
1. Manage and develop a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries, ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.
2. Use your strong technical skills including working knowledge of income tax, company tax, CGT, FBT, trusts, Division 7A, management accounting and reporting requirements.
3. Assist in preparing business advice and/or producing complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax effect accounting, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of businesses.
4. Work on business advisory projects such as: budgets and cash flows, KPI dashboards and management reporting, our virtual CFO offering, developing business plans, cloud accounting advisory, etc.
5. Hands on assistance with Cloud packages including MYOB, Xero and QBO, setting up ledgers, assisting with add-ons, and general troubleshooting to ensure that data is clean and meaningful.
6. Complete and supervise an engagement involving multiple entities and various structures from beginning to end.

You are someone with…..
1. Proven accounting experience within Public Practice or an established commercial organisation
2. CA or CPA qualification or working towards this (desirable)
3. Strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e. Xero, MYOB)
4. Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise your workload
6. Fantastic people skills, an outgoing personality, and a passion for accounting and business advisory services
