We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team, 4 days per week, teaching PE from Prep-6.
We have an incredibly strong Wellbeing program, focusing on building relationships and catering to the diverse needs of the students. We teach students how to manage their behaviours and self-regulate. If this is an area of interest for you, please reference this in your cover letter, including your experiences, skills and beliefs.
Our curriculum approach has seen our students achieve fantastic results. We follow the Science of Reading (SoR) and Talk for Writing (T4W) approaches; this has proven to be very successful and would be a huge benefit if you already have experience in this area.
Cranbourne Park Primary School was built in the early 1960s. It is located in the heart of Cranbourne and services the City of Casey. There is a current enrolment of approximately 290 students from a diverse range of backgrounds. Our staff pride themselves on going above and beyond to support our students and community.

Responsibilities
The role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
Who May Apply
Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.

VIT LANTITE
To be eligible for employment, transfer or promotion in the principal or teacher class a person must have provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching. In addition, from 3 August 2020, to be eligible for employment in the principal class or teacher class, a person who graduated from a Victorian Initial Teacher Education program after 1 July 2016, must demonstrate that they have passed the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE) requirements.
