The Role We are seeking a self-motivated, focused individual to join our finance team and work collaboratively with our Credit Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our credit function.
Our portfolio of debtors includes clients in the industrial supply distribution and retail sectors, as well as optical retailers across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a part-time role of 25-30 hours per week, to be worked over 4 or 5 days.
Days and hours can be negotiated based on individual circumstances.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent customer service while maximising the timely collection of accounts and minimising debt write-offs.
Key responsibilities include: Collecting outstanding accounts via phone and emailProcessing cash receipts and adjustment notesEvaluating 'on-hold' ordersObtaining credit checks and trade referencesSetting up and maintaining customer recordsAssisting in the maintenance of Aust & NZ PPSR registersCredit claims management and investigationSuccessful candidates will have: Excellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenStrong reconciliation and numerical skillsAn aptitude for problem-solvingExperience in collectionsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelExposure to Netsuite or another large-scale ERP systemHighly regarded (but not essential) traits: Experience in a wholesale distribution environmentIf you believe you have the skills and enthusiasm required for this role, please submit your cover letter and resume by 6 April 2025.
