About the Role
The Employment Coach is responsible for case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers with a prior offender history, aiming to secure employment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Stabilising non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience in customers
* 'Reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers
* Running group-based job search sessions to motivate further job placements
The right candidate will possess a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need, ability to meet individual targets, and contribute to a strong site team.
This part-time role (24 hrs per week) is based at Port Pirie, requiring a focus on generating suitable vacancies and job referrals to place customers into.
About You
To be successful, you will:
* Demonstrate a passion and drive for helping people find employment
* Show outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships with diverse customers, employers, and staff
* Able to assess, match, and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and advocate directly to employers
* Meet individual targets and work towards clearly defined KPIs
* Have a minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
* Exhibit strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, and Word, Excel, and Outlook experience
* Show attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Prior experience in employment services or call centre industry or similar will be highly regarded
You will also require:
* A minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to study
* Experience in Employment Services or a related Service industry

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax-effective salary packaging.
