team we have built, and we are looking for more ServiceNow specialists to help us achieve our mission.About the role At Novabridge, the Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for providing expert guidance, technical solutions, and support to clients implementing and customizing the ServiceNow platform.This role involves working closely with clients and your project team to understand the client requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and integration of ServiceNow applications.Key Responsibilities End-to-End Development: Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including the design, architecture, development, and deployment of custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.Platform Configuration & Customization: Customise core platform features such as forms, lists, and UI components.Develop complex business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and scheduled jobs.Implement ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Knowledge, and Service Catalog, aligning them with industry best practices.Tailor the platform to meet specific business needs by creating custom tables, fields, and reports.Advanced Integrations: Design and develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, and integration hub technologies.Work with external systems to facilitate data exchange, such as LDAP, Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Management, and other cloud services.Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and maintainable.Workflow Automation: Automate business processes using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Orchestration.Streamline manual processes by implementing end-to-end automation, integrating with external tools, and leveraging the power of ServiceNow's workflow engine.Design complex approval workflows and task automation solutions.Maintenance & Optimisation: Continuously monitor the performance of the platform and optimise workflows, scripts, and processes to improve efficiency and user experience.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ServiceNow applications, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.Apply upgrades and patches to maintain platform security and stability, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure alignment between the solution and business objectives.Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow best practices and act as a subject matter expert (SME) during design reviews, ensuring the scalability, flexibility, and robustness of the solution.Testing & Documentation: Develop unit and functional tests to ensure the quality of code and workflows.Perform system and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet the business requirements.Create detailed technical documentation, including design documents, test scripts, user guides, and runbooks for operational support.Platform Security & Governance: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and data security policies to ensure compliance with organisational security standards.Work with security teams to ensure ServiceNow follows governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements, including data protection and privacy standards.Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.Proven track record in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications across multiple modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or ITBM.Experience with designing and implementing complex workflows, automation scripts, and integrations within the ServiceNow ecosystem.Technical Skills: Experience with REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, and other integration methods and standards.Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and common ServiceNow applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.Experience with ServiceNow's scripting language (Glide) and an understanding of database structures and relationships.Familiarity with security best practices, such as ACLs, data security, encryption, and governance.Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is required.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.Additional certifications in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, or CSM are preferred.Soft Skills: Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and
