As a highly engaged and driven mechanical tradesperson looking to take control of your career within an organisation that can offer a range of exciting career opportunities.
Your demonstrated experience with maintenance of industrial production equipment along with conducting condition-based assessments and ability to work to routine maintenance schedules will come in handy working inside our hydropower stations.
You keep safety front of mind and are keen to elevate your trades skills and be part of something BIG!
Your skills in mentoring and supervision of junior Technicians/Assistants and Apprentices, along with a strong safety and continuous improvement mindset will make you a valuable team player.
With a Certificate III/IV Mechanical Engineering trade qualification, you'll also need a current driver's licence and solid computer skills.
About the role: To put it simply… support production through maintenance and refurbishment of generating equipment.
Based in the Derwent Region, you'll be working across a range of hydropower stations all with their own story.
Alongside your team of pros, you'll maintain hydropower assets that play a key role in Tasmania's renewable future.
