We are seeking a Transport Manager, a role that is ultimately responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of transportation operations for a long term and highly valued customer.Through collaboration with our people, you will oversee safety, service and cost performance, partnering closely with our customer to exceed operational and financial metrics. Maintaining a long-term focus to relationships, you will also take ownership to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities, train and develop drivers and the fleet team to understand the important roles they play. Key areas:Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to safety, COR and quality requirementsP&L oversight with a focus on growing the business organically and achieving targetsEffective management and development of driver workforce to provide efficiencyOptimise equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilizationProactive management of customer and subcontractor relationshipsDevelop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvementAre you the one?This is an opportunity for an established logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, experienced in providing leadership and effective operational decision making within a supply chain environment.
