Come and join our talented and creative team of change makers to redefine the future through technology.What you'll be doingThe Cultural Awareness Training program is part of the Collective and Individual Training Support Services (CITSS) that provides specialist cultural awareness services and training materials to individuals or groups who, in the course of their roles during exercises or operations within Australia or overseas, may be required to interact with Indigenous communities, diverse cultures, and non-English-speaking individuals.Key Areas of FocusCultural Awareness Education Planning (Technical Specialist)Designing instructional training material and content.Converting lesson plans into effective deliverable outcomes.Coordinating the training delivery plan to ensure seamless execution.Cultural Awareness Education (Technical Specialist)Delivering training in generic cultural awareness.Providing specialised cultural awareness training tailored to specific cultural groups.Offering cultural training designed for operational or deployed environments.Working ConditionsContractual: Engagements are on a contractual basis.Location: Australia-wide, across Defence bases including Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, and Townsville.Travel: Requires travel across multiple Defence bases locally and interstate.What will make you successful in this role?Minimum QualificationsCurrent Baseline or Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance (or higher)TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & AssessmentExperience working with the Australian Government or DefenceExcellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilitiesStrong problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic and driven teamRole-Specific RequirementsCultural Awareness Education Planning (Technical Specialist)Intermediate knowledge of the culture relevant to the deployment context.Strong understanding of Australian culture.Qualifications equivalent to a specialist instructor or higher.Cultural Awareness Education (Technical Specialist)Intermediate knowledge of the culture relevant to the deployment context.Strong understanding of Australian culture.Proficiency in instructional and presentation skills.How to applyhttps://atturra.com/au-en/careersAtturra is committed to addressing the digital skills gap and advocating for diversity and inclusion.
