You'll be a key member of a team that is fast-paced, independent, ambitious, and passionate about technology. What you'll do: Manage the ERP (SAP B1) production environment, including the server, database, and integrations, ensuring high availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within both in-house built services and external integrations. This includes debugging, modifying, and optimising C# code, as well as enhancing SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views. Improve production services’ health, reliability, and observability, often via software development, working towards minimising downtime and enhancing user experience. Optimise database performance and load, oversee the main SQL database and replicas. Juggle several requests simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Take the lead in investigating potential security incidents. Work closely with the engineering team, stakeholders, and other departments like Finance to provide SAP support and set clear delivery expectations. Provide guidance to our development team on SAP integrations using interfaces like SAP B1 SDK DI and Service Layer. Automate business processes using SAP, streamlining operations and increasing efficiency. What you'll need: Strong skills in SQL Server management, including writing and optimising queries, stored procedures, and views. Experience in managing large-scale database performance and ensuring data integrity is essential. Competent in developing software using C# or similar language. Experience with ERP systems, internal Web and Application Development. Competent in System Administration - adept at managing and maintaining system health and security. Skilled in operating and building software running on Windows environments. Problem solver, demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and debugging production issues efficiently within a distributed system architecture. Time management and prioritisation.
