Overview
Edith Cowan University is looking to recruit a Security Officer to join the ECU services team.
Digital and Campus Services provides a responsive, integrated and customer-orientated service that brings together the digital and physical environments for students and staff, supporting their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs.
The Security Team is responsible for the delivery of services such as security and traffic, emergency management and access control to enhance the on-campus experience for students, staff and visitors.
The Role
The University Security Officer operates as a skilled member of the security team in the delivery of protective services and responds flexibly to the needs of the job. Security Officers work to ensure that students, staff, and other stakeholders have a safe and enjoyable time on campus by delivering excellent customer service. ECU's Security Officers need to understand and respond to the needs of stakeholders with well-being a top priority.
This position requires applicants to be able to work across both the Joondalup and Mount Lawley Campus, and work a variety of day, afternoon and night shifts including weekends and public holidays. Typically, Security Officers are structured on a five-week rotation, consisting of 10 shifts per fortnight, including nights, weekends and afternoon shifts.

This full-time, fixed-term position attracts a remuneration of $65,785 per annum plus allowances (when applicable) and 17% superannuation.
