How You Will Help
The Senior Manager, Operational Resilience is a second-line risk role that provides enterprise-level Payments and Operational Resilience expertise to support the effective functioning of Westpac's Risk Management Framework.
* Provide SME insights, oversight, challenge, and reporting as well as enhancing the understanding and monitoring of Payments and Operational Resilience Risk across Westpac.
* Support the Executive Manager, Payments and Operational Resilience Risk to provide enterprise-level SME oversight, challenge, and reporting of Payments and Operational Resilience.
* Drive positive Risk outcomes by delivering valuable, data-driven insights to Businesses and other Risk Teams.
* Assist in the development of frameworks, policies, and guidance.
* Perform deep dives and thematic reviews.
* Drive standardisation of frameworks and enhance the understanding of Payments and Operational Resilience Risk across the Group.

What Do You Need
To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years' experience in Payments and/or managing Payments Risk with demonstrable experience in risk management techniques and capabilities, including analytics and related systems.
You will have proven experience in Operational Resilience and experience leading change in risk management.
You will have the ability to build strong relationships, effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory, payments scheme, and prudential requirements of an ADI including CPS 230.
* Strong business acumen and Payments and Operational Resilience subject matter knowledge.
* Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to deliver valuable insight.
* Ability to think and act at both a granular and strategic level.
* Ability to make decisions confidently and with integrity.
* A sound understanding of risk concepts, frameworks, policies, and procedures, particularly those pertaining to Payments and Operational Resilience.
* Initiative-taking self-starter and committed individual seeking to add value in the role.
* The ability to prioritise and deliver results on time.
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
* Data analysis and PowerBI experience desirable.
