Key duties include:
1. Work with the Head of Business Development and Partnerships to achieve sponsorship targets through developing and implementing sponsorship and partnership strategies to ensure QAGOMA is proactive and competitive in the arts sponsorship environment.
2. Research potential new sponsors and develop sponsorship proposals to targeted organisations.
3. Proactively engage in negotiations for renewal of sponsorship contracts with existing partners, in advance of sponsorship expiration.
4. Manage the implementation of sponsor benefits and activations.
The right person for the job will demonstrate capabilities, including:
5. Proven track record of successful management of high-level relationships, including the research and identification of prospect partners and stakeholders, creating unique leveraging ideas and the delivery of benefits.
6. An understanding of the visual arts sector and the skills to prepare concise and exciting sponsorship proposal collateral for targeted partnership presentation.
7. Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
8. Experience in researching potential contacts through social media and contemporary sources.
