ABOUT THE ROLE:
JRM Hospitality is currently working with a premium 5* Hotel in Brisbane's Arts and Entertainment precinct. The hotel boasts a variety of premium F&B outlets, 300+ rooms and suites and a consistent C&E revenue with planned renovations locked in to further elevate targeted areas of the hotel.
For the right candidate there is the potential for a career pathway to GM within the group as it plans its future expansion.
Successful candidates will have a proven background in luxury hotel environments with additional experience in Food and Beverage management roles highly desirable.
You will be joining what is widely considered to be one of the busiest hotels in Brisbane with a consistent and market leading occupancy rate.
Capped relocation assistance will be considered for candidates applying from interstate.
To be successful in the role you will:
* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in luxury hotels, preferably in Rooms Division management including proven track record of managing front office, housekeeping, and guest services.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage a large, diverse team across multiple departments, bringing expertise in performance management, and team development to uphold the highest standards of service.
* Possess a deep understanding of luxury service standards with an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest experiences, along with strong conflict-resolution skills to handle guest feedback effectively and professionally.
* Proven ability to optimise operational processes in housekeeping, front office, and guest services to enhance productivity while maintaining top-tier standards, with expertise in implementing and managing SOPs to ensure consistency and quality across the rooms division.
* Exhibit strong financial acumen with proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the rooms division, focused on cost control and revenue management, and skilled in analysing and improving KPIs to achieve financial goals.
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of a luxury environment.
* Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, changes in guest expectations, and seasonal variations in hotel occupancy.
* A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential for candidates with exceptional experience.
