You will be responsible for monitoring costs, tracking schedules, mitigating risks, and developing forecasts to keep projects on track. Using data-driven insights, you will help drive efficiency and innovation in project controls. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to best-practice shutdown execution in one of Australia's top coal operations.
Key Responsibilities : Monitor and analyse project costs to ensure efficiency and budget alignment.Work collaboratively with Planners, Schedulers, Execution Coordinators and Cost Controllers to optimise project resourcing and identify waste trends.Support the development of 2Y budgets / 5Y Planning, tracking commitments, estimation of accruals, monitoring the impact of scope change, and completion of end-of-month submissions.Track and report schedule progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines.Identify and mitigate potential budget and timeline risks with proactive solutions.Develop forecasts and recovery plans to maintain project momentum.Provide data-driven insights to project managers for informed decision-making and process improvements.Qualifications & Experience : 5+ years' experience in Mining / Heavy Industry Shutdowns (highly regarded).Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred).Strong background in project controls, cost tracking, and scheduling in Mining, Oil and Gas or Heavy Industry.Advanced Excel, MS Project, Power BI and SAP skills will be highly regarded.Ability to identify risks and develop proactive solutions.Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in project controls.Next Steps : Please apply to this advert or for more information, please contact Rebecca on or email [emailprotected].
