The Customer Service Manager position requires establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers. This role serves as a focal point for the liaison between the customer and internal departments, ensuring customer requests are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate engine overhaul and repair processes from induction to shipping.
* Ensure timely and professional compliance with customer requests.
* Establish engine work scope based on customer needs and engineering suggestions.
* Maintain a trusting relationship between StandardAero and our Customers.
* Provide accurate information to support departments to progress engines through production.
* Guide Customer Service Representatives in preparing estimates and invoices.
* Offer technical guidance and assistance to Customers as requested.
* Prepare and present information to internal/external customers.
* Review and approve estimates, invoices, and summary condition reports.
* Evaluate accuracy of estimates and maintain target margins.
* Update sales forecast as required.
* Make informed decisions regarding serviceable versus non-serviceable parts at installation.
* Coordinate 'quick turn' service lines, including piece part assemblies and advance exchanges.
* Review, determine, and report business metrics.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
* Minimum four years experience in the aerospace industry, preferably with PWC engine knowledge.
* Strong financial acumen and accounting skills.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
* Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
* Ability to quickly adapt to internal systems and databases.
