The Role Reporting to the Electrical Assets Supervisor, you will have the ability to make decisions, work to meet deadlines and exceptional communication skills.
Multiple rosters available for this role 7-7 Days only and 7-7 Day /Night.
The successful candidates will be responsible for: Preventative maintenance and repairs Electrical inspections; Installations and upgrades to GFM LV and HV networks; Fault finding and trouble-shooting electrical issues and breakdowns Drill Rig Maintenance and Breakdowns Supporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages Maintaining and improving OH&S and overall operational standards in the workplace Manage and maintain friendly and professional relationships with clients, staff & management Have the ability to attend break-downs as required by the business Ability to plan work tasks in order to meet compliance with the Weekly and Daily Plans Ability to make decisions and display leadership within own circle of control Ability to interpret and update technical drawings The successful candidate will possess: Trade Qualified Electrician Proven track record of electrical repairs and maintenance Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read parts diagrams and schematics Some light fabrication skills required such as making brackets and mountings Understanding of circuit diagrams and wiring Installation of electrics and excellent overall electrical skills Hard working, reliable and able to work unsupervised Strong focus on completing the job safely and compliantly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent trouble-shooting & problem solving skills Flexible approach and adaptable to change with a high attention to detail Good time management skills and able to work well under pressure Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment Applications will not be accepted via email.
