We are currently looking to expand our team with a positive, driven and experienced Project Supervisor to supervise our regional projects across NSW. This is for a 6 month period of work although may lead to full time opportunity. It is for regional work although there may be a requirement to travel for future projects.
The Role Based in regional NSW with some interstate opportunities, the successful Project Supervisor will supervise civil, demolition and remediation projects. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team, in-house delivery resources, and interstate resources where required.
Reporting to Senior Management, you will work to ensure we achieve optimum production and cost outcomes through the management of direct labor and subcontractors to deliver additional project services on behalf of our client.
The Project Supervisor is expected to be present on-site during key milestones, particularly during project kick-off, and this will mean travelling to project sites - this is an essential requirement of the role.
The key role of the Project Supervisor is to identify and allocate appropriate resources to deliver simple, complex and large scale projects, from the pre-project planning phase to practical completion, in accordance with contract conditions and other stakeholder requirements. Incumbents are required to have the necessary skillset to identify and problem solve project issues to ensure that works conform to the appropriate standards and that they are completed on budget and within agreed timeframes. The applicant must demonstrate effective consultation and communication skills through regular engagement and the development of sound working relationships with project stakeholders.
Under the direction of the company Directors, the applicant will undertake a variety of duties which are expected to be delivered autonomously and prioritised according to business requirements.
The Project Supervisor is expected to have a minimum of 10 years' industry experience and should hold sufficient competence and technical understanding within a specific discipline offered by the business.
