This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and experience working in Builder/Head Contractor roles, as well as a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
This contract position offers an attractive salary, with the potential to transition to a permanent role at the end of the contract period.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Manage the coordination of subcontractors and direct oversight of construction teams to ensure efficient work delivery.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all project objectives are met.
Monitor project performance and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction phase.
Review and approve project documents, including contracts, progress reports, and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Manage risk by identifying potential issues early on and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members as required.
Key Requirements: 5-10 years of experience in Project Management, with a background in Builder/Head Contractor roles.
Recent experience on the client side is advantageous.
Strong experience coordinating subcontractors and overseeing builders, while ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Build to Rent projects is a bonus, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
