Safety & Accreditation Administrator - St Kilda Festival
Salary Range Band 5 $79,188 - $91,309 plus 11.5% Super
Full time, 8-week temporary position, commencing 6th January 2025
Located at St Kilda Town Hall with flexible working arrangements possible.

About the Role
Do you want to play a role in supporting the delivery of major events, such as the St Kilda Festival?
We are seeking to recruit an administrator with public event experience, combined with excellent customer service and comfort with coordinating compliance and safety outcomes - to support administration activities for the St Kilda Festival. Vital to success in this position will be your ability to communicate effectively across a broad team and manage your time and work priorities in a busy environment.
Duties:
Manage the Festival safety induction program, including ensuring that all safety induction accreditation cards are issued to stakeholders and manage all Accreditation program administration
Ensure accurate databases and records are kept of all safety induction training and cards issued, and that records can be easily accessed at all times
Assist the production team managers on the coordination and collation of supplier / contractor / agency risk and insurance documentation
Provide support to the Accreditation Manager and team as required including coordinating plans and resourcing for areas of Festival that require Accreditation Check points.
Collate and file all safety checklists from site managers for itinerant trader safety in liaison with the Festival Risk Management Consultant
Other duties as mutually agreed
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated professional experience in large scale events administration
Working knowledge and understanding of Major Event accreditation systems as well as ticketing systems
Demonstrated experience in engaging with public enquires in an event ticketing context.
Excellent communication skills applicable to a wide variety of stakeholders and situations
Ability to keep calm in high pressure situations
Strong data entry and tracking skills using Microsoft Office suite
