About the role Duties will include:Working closely with Partners and the management team to ensure client work is completed to a high standardExecuting audit engagements ensuring key deliverables are metDirect client communication for the planning and preparation of fieldwork and completion of financial statementsInvoices, billing and work in progress analysis for portfolio of clientsSupervising of junior staff on larger engagementsMentoring of junior staff in the audit teamTravel to and from clients around Australia as and when requiredParticipation in firm internal and external training sessions Skills and experience The ideal candidate will:Have completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)Have a minimum of 3 years' audit experienceBe CA qualified or be well advanced in completing the CA programDisplay great communication skills and be able to establish long lasting relationships with clientsBe able to work independently or as part of a larger engagement teamHave a sound knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing standardsBe able to control the audit process from planning through to completion To be considered, please submit a resume and cover letter.
