Responsibilities include:
* Read blueprints/instructions and examine surface to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
* Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc
* Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc
* Apply paint to walls and structures and protect surrounding areas
* Make assessments on paint color, mix and match pigments using multiple techniques and tools
* Remove previous paint using a number of methods to prepare surfaces
* Use differ tools and brushes to apply paints with attention to details
* Support other team members to ensure completion of projects on time and according to specifications
* Work on Residential and commercial work projects
* Understand and comply with industry safety and environmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Relevant Qualifications;
* Minimum 2 years’ of relevant work experience
* Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools;
* Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities;
* Great attention on details;
* Able to work efficiently with and without supervision;
* Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal tasks.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per year.
