Job Summary
South Metropolitan Health Service is seeking Health Service Medical Practitioners or Senior Medical Practitioners to join our team in the Emergency Department at Peel Health Campus.
About the Role
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide speciality services to patients within the emergency department.
* Promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Head of Department/Director Medical Services.
* Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

Eligibility & Conditions
* To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia.
* To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
