About the role
St Joseph's Catholic School, Cloncurry is seeking an experienced and dedicated Middle Leader of Pastoral Care. This position is a Full Time, Permanent teaching role with a 3 year fixed term appointment to the Middle Leader position which commences 20 January 2025. While this role will see you working in a Middle Leader capacity, the position will also include a component of classroom teaching as part of your duties.
The position of Middle Leader of Pastoral Care is responsible for:
* Leading the pastoral care and wellbeing of students from Prep to Year 9 within the school.
* Supervision and induction of teachers engaged in pastoral care in the designated area of responsibility
* Pastoral care of staff engaged in the area of responsibility
* Other appropriate duties as required by the Principal and College Leadership Team.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other
* Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
