Your new role:
A dedicated Sales Specialist to manage their own territory, working within the safety product industry. You will support the distribution network and build relationships with end users, leveraging your sales expertise to drive business growth. Although a background in the welding industry is not required, prior external sales experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organised Site Visits: Conduct scheduled site visits to build rapport and assess customer needs.
2. Joint Calls with Distributors: Collaborate with distributors to meet with end users and identify sales opportunities.
3. Cold Calling: Actively seek out new opportunities and potential clients within your designated area.
4. Product Demonstrations: Showcase product features and benefits, tailoring demonstrations to customer needs.
5. Competitive Presentations: Highlight the advantages of our products over competitors, providing safety consultations.
6. Product Training: Educate distributors on product use and advantages over competitors.
7. Consultation: Provide safety consultations and promote the proper use of our products.
8. Promotions: Actively push current promotions and sales opportunities.
9. Sales Data Review: Analyze sales data to identify new opportunities and trends.
10. Expansion: Seek out new distributor accounts to grow the business further.
Your Experience:
11. External Sales Experience: A proven track record in sales is essential.
12. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) is preferred.
13. Attention to Detail: Impeccable organisation skills and an eye for detail.
14. Drive & Initiative: A motivated self-starter, eager to find and create new opportunities.
15. Customer Relationship Skills: Strong networking abilities to foster long-term relationships.
