Workshop Boilermaker

$2400+ per week

At M2P Engineering, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality engineering and construction solutions. As a Workshop Boilermaker, you will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Based in Wingfield, SA, you will work in our well-equipped workshop, contributing to a variety of projects across different sectors, including mining, industrial, and marine.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components
* Utilising your knowledge of GMAW (flux core) and GTAW welding processes
* Fabricating a variety of heavy industrial pipework, platework, and structural steel
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
* Working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, and exotics
* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
* Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, GMAW (flux core), and GTAW
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Experience in fabricating heavy industrial pipework, platework, and structural steel
* Commitment to safety and attention to detail
Ideally, you will also have:
* Experience in a workshop environment, particularly within the mining, industrial, or marine sectors
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* A flexible attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed
