Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Demand Planning: Utilise best practices to manage and lead the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with business objectives.
2. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory reporting and implement strategies to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
3. IBP Leadership: Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for both Integrated and Executive Review, ensuring alignment across the organisation.
4. Process and System Optimisation: Drive continuous improvements in planning systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Master Data Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data management to support planning activities.
6. Implementation of Planning Software: Lead the implementation of planning software to streamline operations and improve productivity.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align on financial performance and ensure exceptional service to customers.
8. Customer Management: Maintain and implement Customer Management Principles and Customer Order Management processes in collaboration with the Sales team.
9. Forecasting Models: Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
10. Risk Assessments: Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
11. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders' engagement and scale of change required.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in demand planning and supply chain management.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
5. Proficiency in planning software and tools.
Critical Knowledge and Experience Required:
1. Demand Planning and Forecasting: Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting.
2. Supply Chain Management: Highly developed knowledge of supply chain management and inventory management.
3. MRP/ERP Systems: Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and S&OP processes.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Marketing and Sales Operations: Experience in Marketing, Sales, or Sales Operations, focusing on data-driven demand generation methods to drive sales pipelines.
6. Analytical Mindset: Data-driven with strong analytical skills.
