Responsibilities Assist young people in gaining new skills and increased confidence.
Develop and maintain a purposeful, empowering, supportive relationship with young people and assist with connection to opportunities.
Build a positive relationship with the young person, be a positive role model, and provide non-judgmental support.
Be mechanically minded or handy, with the ability to work on small engines, basic woodwork, soldering, welding, and general tinkering when working on projects or fixing bicycles.
Minimum Requirements Over 21 years of age.
Possess a WWCC or be willing to undergo a police check.
Commitment Regular - less than 6 months
Time Required Our Pit Stop Program runs Tuesdays to Thursdays with three sessions daily: 9:15 am, 11:00 am, and 1:00 pm.
We offer flexible volunteering where you can select the days and times you would like to assist (e.g., once a week, once a fortnight, etc.).
