Talk to us about what flexibility may look like for you.DutiesProvide authoritative advice to the Deputy Secretary of Creative Industries, Sport and Visitor Economy, the Director, Creative Tasmania, the Minister, and other key government and industry stakeholders in relation to arts industry policy and programs.Provide leadership and management of Arts Tasmania by adopting flexible and innovative human, physical, and financial resource management practices to enhance overall capability and resolve complex issues that may arise.Design programs and allocate resources with respect to multi-faceted arts programs and projects based on government and departmental priorities.Establish strategic goals for Arts Tasmania, linking workplace and divisional and departmental objectives.Prepare complex, multi-portfolio material for dissemination to internal and external audiences.Oversee the development and successful implementation of government support through Arts Tasmania’s programs and special funding initiatives.Engage and consult with stakeholders including industry; all tiers of government and community members to identify and support opportunities that encourage innovation and entrepreneurial development of the Arts sector in Tasmania.Minimum QualificationsA relevant tertiary qualification and/or proven event management experience and achievement in a similar senior role.Application ProcessTo apply, please provide a one to two page document outlining your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the Statement of Duties, and a copy of your current Resumé/CV.Online applications are preferred; please click the blue Apply Now button.
