The Product Chapter Lead plays a key role in supporting CommSec's Product and Investing Solutions Crew to achieve its vision of bringing the best investment solutions to Australians at every stage of their lives.Do work that mattersThe Chapter Lead is part of the CommSec Product and Risk Chapter.
As a Chapter Lead, you will lead the development of product capability and craft, and build a growth culture within the chapter.
You will work closely with squads that support CommSec's share trading products and platforms to build the product management skillsets required to enable the delivery of the squads' objectives and outcomes safely and at speed.Any given week could see you:Supporting the delivery of Crew and/or COE outcomes within the squad.Managing and developing product capabilities within the chapter through coaching, feedback and organised learning.Undertaking capability assessments and contributing to capability and capacity planning for the squads/Crew.Collaborating with key SMEs to build and maintain product specific knowledge and expertise.Driving consistency and quality of the chapter's performance through implementing standard ways of working, frameworks, tooling and methodologies where required.Leading and managing people including recruitment, skills building, career development, coaching, performance management, talent/succession planning.Engaging with risk and compliance SMEs to facilitate continuous learning of the risk and regulatory environment the product operates within.Managing complex product enquiries and complaints, uplifting internal communications and training where required.Facilitating the constructive resolution of conflicts which may arise both internally and externally to the Chapter.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across digital, frontline, technology, risk and operations.We are interested to hear from people who have:People leadership experience, including expectation setting, coaching, and driving performance.Experience in leading through adaptive organisational and cultural change with a strong bias to challenging existing ways of working.Strong product design and management expertise, with 5+ years of experience in the craft.Strong problem solving capabilities with the motivation and ability to lead through ambiguity.A passion for developing people's capability and fostering a positive growth culture.Experience in effectively managing multiple priorities.Strong presentation, communication and influential stakeholder management skills.Experience in stockbroking/financial services/other related industries, preferred.
