This is an exciting opportunity to work on key projects and manage payroll processes within our SAP landscape, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll operations.Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced SAP Payroll Functional Lead to manage and optimise payroll processes within the SAP system. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP Payroll configuration, business processes, and the ability to collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure that payroll systems meet business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading payroll projects, system configuration, and troubleshooting any payroll-related issues.Key Responsibilities:SAP Payroll Management: Lead the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of the SAP Payroll module, ensuring smooth operation and timely payroll delivery.Configuration & Customisation: Oversee the configuration and customisation of the SAP Payroll module to meet business requirements and compliance regulations.System Integration: Work with other SAP modules (such as SAP HCM) and third-party systems to ensure seamless integration of payroll data and processes.Payroll Processing: Lead the execution and validation of payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax, benefits, and labor laws.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes and improve efficiency within the SAP system.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to address payroll needs and ensure systems are aligned with business objectives.Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve any payroll-related issues or incidents, providing timely solutions to ensure payroll accuracy.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure payroll processes adhere to legal, tax, and company-specific policies and requirements across various jurisdictions.Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, helping them navigate the SAP Payroll system and troubleshooting issues as needed.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation on SAP Payroll configurations, processes, and issues. Generate regular reports on payroll performance and metrics.Key Skills & Experience:Proven experience in SAP Payroll, including configuration, implementation, and support within the SAP HCM environment.Strong understanding of payroll processes, including tax regulations, benefits, and statutory requirements.Experience with SAP HCM modules, particularly SAP Payroll and Personnel Administration (PA).In-depth knowledge of the integration between SAP Payroll and other SAP modules (e.g., SAP Finance, SAP HR).Ability to manage and resolve complex payroll issues and incidents in a timely manner.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.SAP certification in SAP HCM or Payroll is highly desirable.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 5-7 years of experience working with SAP Payroll in a functional lead role.Experience in global payroll processing and compliance is preferred.SAP Payroll certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on high-impact payroll projects.A dynamic and collaborative working environment.Career development opportunities within the company.For a confidential discussion please contact Corin on 0457676048 or apply.
