About the Role
Grampians Health Ballarat Allied Health is seeking a Program Assistant (Administration) to join our team in a 6-month fixed term capacity, Commencing March 2025 until August 2025. The role is full time fixed term, however applicants seeking 4 or more days (32 hours) per week are also encouraged to apply.
As a Program Assistant with us you have opportunity to support community members along their allied healthcare journey by providing first class customer service for our clientele and dedicated administration support to our clinical teams. You will be part of a small friendly team of “PA’s”, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
The role offers variety, including “front of house” reception duties for our allied health programs at the Ballarat Base Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC), operation of the QEC switchboard, as well as work behind the scenes supporting departments with waitlist management, data entry, and other day-to-day tasks.
Skills and Experience
A program assistant who joins our team will: be an excellent communicator, committed to providing customer service at the highest standard. This includes the ability to identify and solve problems constructively, listen, and relay information

Previous experience in administration or customer service in a health environment will also be highly regarded.
