Key Accountabilities
1. Builds and sustains partnerships and collaborations with both internal teams and customers.
2. Conducts consistent performance discussions with customers to ensure transparency and foster strong relationships.
3. Promotes innovative and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and productivities, maximising value delivery.
4. Collaborates closely with customers and immediate superior in budget formation and financial monitoring.
5. Oversees effective contract administration and regularly reviews service scopes.
6. Takes the leading role in new operational deployments, utilising experience and expertise to minimise risks.
7. Fosters a culture of performance management among direct reports to encourage continuous improvement.
8. Recognises training and development requirements and actively works with individuals to promote their career growth and personal development.
9. Effectively addresses any underperformance, strictly following the DP World standard processes and maintains a proactive focus on succession planning to fulfil the business requirements.
10. Takes a leading role in all new operational deployments, capitalising on experience and knowledge to reduce risks and minimise disruption.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
11. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
12. MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage.
13. Minimum 10 years in Contract Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, with proven track record in managing large, diverse teams and handling complex logistics operations.
14. Familiarity with the Contract Logistics sector in Oceania and knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics is essential.
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with different stakeholders, including customers, staff, and senior management.
16. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to manage operational issues, logistical challenges, and business strategy.
17. Strong project management skills including planning, execution, and monitoring of operations.
