Role Overview: Manage Contract and project delivery in accordance with corporate and divisional systems and framework to deliver safe, reliable, and quality power supply within Operational Budgets.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Power delivery: Provide visible safety leadership and coaching to ensure all contract and project delivery activities are executed safely.
2. Power delivery: Ensure contract works are organised and executed in line with agreed plans, standards, policies, budgets, and procedures.
3. Power delivery: Endure quality control of site contract works.
4. Power delivery: Deliver customer funded contract works within agreed timeframes.
5. Power delivery: Coordinate contractor’s works schedule.
6. Finance: Deliver contract and project works in accordance with budgets.
7. People: Lead and develop and capable contract work team aligned to the clients’ values.
8. People: Ensure cooperative and effective working relationship with the asset management team (works planning).
9. People: Manage contractors in accordance with contractual budget and safety requirements.
10. Safety: Endure compliance to safety standards and work practices by audit engagement of HP subject matter experts.
11. Other: Ensure compliance to native title and heritage processes, procedures, and plans
12. Other: Ensure compliance to environmental processes, procedures, and plans
13. Manage, monitor, and report on the budgets for allocated areas associated with the Kimberley services contracts.
14. Coordinate and manage the delivery of P1 and P2 maintenance and internal and customer funded capital works in areas covered by Kimberley services contract.
15. Develop collaborative working relationship between Kimberley services contractor’s suppliers and stakeholders to inform consult and support the efficient operation and delivery of projects associated with Kimberley services contract.
16. Assists the Asset Manager with the maintenance planning, programming, and budgeting for areas associated with the Kimberley services contract.
17. Develops strategies to improve cost efficiencies in service provision and delivery of works associated with Kimberley services contracts.
18. Develop, manage, and maintain documented performance indicator reports on contract performance.
Essential to be successful in this role;
19. Electrical Trade Certificate (ESI or equivalent) or Electrical Engineering Diploma and Significant Power Distribution Construction experience.
20. Project Management Qualifications
21. WA driver’s license class “C”.
22. Blue/White Card (Work Safe Construction Safety Awareness Training Course).
23. Current First Aid Certificate.
24. Sound Knowledge in the scheduling and delivery of project outcomes in accordance with relevant standards processes and practices.
25. Sound Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, regulations, and procedures.
26. Sound knowledge of safety and environmental systems, policies, and practices.
27. Sound Knowledge of complex IT based business, customer, asset, and operational systems.
28. Knowledge of contract and financial management processes.
29. Current valid NPC or able to obtain one
