Federal Government of Australia – Adelaide SA $83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation The Role Aircrew Life Support Management Unit (ALSMU) is responsible for governing materiel sustainment and acquisition of Aircrew Life Support Equipment (ALSE) across the Australian Defence Force. This will ensure that ALSE sustainment and acquisition transition is delivered in accordance with set agreements and contracts that comply with procurement, financial, logistics, technical and legal requirements. Applicants should demonstrate the skills and experience to achieve these key result areas: Assist in the development of contracting strategies based on Smart Buyer principles and an asset management approach. Govern and assure the delivery of ALSE by monitoring a range of performance measures. Assist in the development and management of ALSMU's Business and Financial Planning. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of plans to ensure arrangements for the delivery and ongoing management of ALSE are established in accordance with requirements. Develop and maintain effective relationships with industry partners and other key internal and external stakeholders. About our Team Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response airborne and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) – including the P-8A Poseidon. SRSPO also acquires and supports common Aircrew Life Support Equipment used on air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy and Army. We also support the MQ-4C Triton, a new remotely piloted high altitude long endurance aircraft system.
