Synaco Global are pleased to partner with an industry leading manufacturer of industrial motors. Due to their continued growth and success, they are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Controller for their manufacturing facility in Smithfield.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage spare parts inventory levels, track orders, deliveries, shipments, and transfers; perform regular physical audits and address any discrepancies.
* Accurately enter inventory data into the inventory management system (SAP) and produce regular reports on stock levels, shortages, and turnover.
* Create and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices; organize, label, and store stock efficiently; conduct the annual stock take.
* Examine inventory for defects, damage, or discrepancies and report issues to relevant departments; implement corrective measures to resolve inventory problems.
* Analyze inventory trends to forecast needs and prevent overstocking or stockouts; support the development and execution of strategies to optimize inventory levels.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards; maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
A Successful Candidate:
* Has minimum 3 years inventory controller experience
* MUST have a valid forklift license
* Qualification in inventory management (preferred but not required)
* General warehouse experience
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
* Ongoing; Monday - Friday
* Morning shift 8am start
* $35-38ph + super
* Located in Smithfield
* Great team working environment
