About the Role:
We are seeking a Team Lead Occupational Therapist to join a friendly multi-disciplinary team servicing clients under the NDIS on the Northern Beaches, NSW.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career, and provide supervision and mentorship of junior therapists, as well as playing an active role in management of the OT service. You will be responsible for leading a team of 5 OT's, as well as maintaining a caseload that you can tailor to your clinical specialty. The role is predominantly clinic based with some local home visits. You will be supported by the Clinical Leadership Team and receive external supervision to continue your career progression.
Responsibilities:
* Supervision and mentoring of a team of 5 OT's
* Overseeing rosters, availability and leave - ensuring sufficient staffing across both clinics
* Facilitating recruitment including conducting interviews and leading induction for new staff
* Supporting client allocation and management of junior staff diaries
* Facilitating CPD program
* Analysing and reporting monthly KPI's of team
* Working collaboratively with the Clinic Director and Manager regarding business needs.

About You:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* AHPRA registration
* 5+ years' experience in a therapeutic role
* NDIS experience essential across lifespan
* Experience with mentoring junior staff
* Passionate about the OT profession and ensuring evidence based practice
* Highly approachable and a good listener
* Exceptional time management skills
* Ability to build a loyal caseload, as well as balance mentoring requirements
* Ability to communicate with stakeholders
* Current drivers licence and own vehicle
* Eligible to work permanently in Australia
