Job Description Join us in a pivotal role driving transformational change across the Disruption Transformation program Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align new disruption initiatives across impacted areas of the business Grow and diversify your career 24-month fixed term contract based at our Mascot Campus Join us as the Change Manager, a pivotal role responsible for driving and supporting our people through change across the Disruptions transformation Program. Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Readiness, you will lead Change workstreams across the Customer Transformation Programme. Your role involves expert change management guidance, managing implementation and change risks, and conducting detailed change analysis.
In addition to leading Change workstreams, you will mitigate change-related impacts and ensure effective change readiness across all organisational levels. With a minimum of 8 years' experience in complex change management, exceptional organisational and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the aviation industry and Qantas' technology landscape, you will thrive in this role.
You'll have – Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Change Management or equivalent industry experience The role requires a minimum of 8 years' experience in a project environment with demonstrated examples of key Change initiatives being delivered Sound knowledge and experience within project and change management initiatives Significant experience in a complex matrix organisation Exposure to Agile methodology and understanding of the airline industry Experience with complex operational environments and stakeholders Highly self-motivated with strong ability to deliver under pressure and manage time as needed Excellent relationship management skills and strong customer focus with the ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to influence key stakeholders at the Senior Executive and junior levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability and confidence to run forums with more senior management membership/participation Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Qantas is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
