Helping to improve people’s health and lives and shaping our organisation’s future.You’ll make a meaningful impact by:Operate cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to obtain optimal images and support medical diagnoses.You will be responsible for engaging with clinic managers and continuing a working relationship.Interpret and process requests for cardiac procedures, ensuring accurate patient identification and history review.Document patient conditions, including pathology characteristics, and deliver high-quality patient care and customer service.Build strong relationships with referrers, addressing their needs promptly and explaining procedures clearly to patients.Collaborate with Cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.What you’ll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:A post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound.A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).Sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography.Excellent interpersonal & patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approach.Commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.Current Australian Driver’s License and ability to work across several locations in the Canberra region.We would also love you to have:A mindset of collaboration and continual learning.
