The primary purpose of the Supply Base Supervisor is to manage a team to achieve and exceed customer requirements, located within one of Qube's operating locations in the Karratha / Dampier region of Western Australia. Specific Responsibilities: Oversee operation to ensure team is safely and efficiently achieving operational objectives and requirements. Liaise with customers both internal and external. Observe, direct, and correct operating behavior of employees to ensure safe work practices. Coach and assist the team through issues and share best practices. Conduct toolbox talks to communicate key operational issues. Observe Qube policies and procedures as they apply to tasks assigned. Operate facility safely at all times, reporting any safety breaches or incidents immediately to the Supply Base Manager. Customer Relations: Foster and maintain positive partnerships with management, staff, and clients. Proactively attend meetings and support initiatives consistent with contractual guidelines. Respond to any issues raised efficiently and positively. Quality: Set high work standards through leadership by example. Ensure efficient operation of the branch's vehicles and plant. Complete all necessary associated documentation. Initiate action to prevent deficiencies in product delivery. Supervise work effectively. Ensure good care is taken of vehicles/plant under your care. Finance: Assist in resource allocation to improve operational and financial performance and monitor regularly. Monitor and report monthly performance, including KPIs, downtime, bottlenecks, breakdowns, and customer/personnel-related issues impacting the business financially. Control business costs and keep them as low as possible. Safety: Comply with Qube's health and safety policy and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Current valid Motor Vehicle Driver's License. Extensive experience in managing an industrial workforce. Experience in frontline leadership focusing on best practice principles delivering operational excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Ability to implement and deliver policies and procedures. Understanding of labor management, performance management, and employee development. Good knowledge of competency-based training and assessment. Experience managing safety in the workplace, including Quality Safety and Environmental Management Systems operations.
