The Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the overall operations at the Return & Earn depot in Griffith 2680, receiving bulk deposits of recyclable drink containers from members of the local community. You will lead, train and coach a team of warehouse assistants, ensure that standard work processes and work, health and safety practices are complied with at all times. Your relevant warehousing management experience, with demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and building positive work environment will be highly important to this role. A current NSW Driver Licence and Forklift Licence are required for this role.

Your responsibilities as Warehouse Supervisor:
1. Lead, train and coach and assess performance of team members; foster positive work environment
2. Inspire team members in providing the best customer service possible
3. Ensure recycling and warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with Work Health & Safety procedures
4. Assign, plan and delegate work flow activities of warehouse to ensure efficient processing of container deposits
5. Coordinate repairs, cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment
6. Develop and maintain reporting metrics and analyse data to assess performance and recommend improvements with respect to the CDS site functions
7. Maintain relevant records with regards to Point of Sale (POS) systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
8. Demonstrated experience as Warehouse Supervisor and team leader
9. Experience in negotiation, conflict management and resolution
10. Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage and plan to meet tight deadlines
11. Demonstrated understanding of WHS procedures
12. Proficient with MS Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) system
13. Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence
