Seaford Library is part of the City of Onkaparinga library network and is recognised for its family friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Seaford Library is a joint use facility with Seaford Secondary College.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in:
* Leading and managing a dedicated team of staff and volunteers at Seaford Library
* Collaborating closely with the Seaford Secondary College principal and staff to deliver services aligned with the joint-use agreement
* Ensuring that Onkaparinga Libraries comply with corporate WHS and Volunteering expectations
* Implementing the Libraries Strategic Plan and organisational strategic priorities
* Managing the Seaford Library facility to meet the priorities of the City of Onkaparinga and Seaford Secondary College
About You As an experienced people leader, you will have a strong customer focus, demonstrating the ability to have a caring and sensitive approach to customer needs.
You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) which will support you in delivering quality library services for our community.
Ideally you will possess:
* Interpersonal skills which are inclusive and encourage the development, cooperation and support of others and which emphasise and encourage a professional service delivery focus
* Ability to support, guide and skill staff and volunteers to deliver efficient and ethical work practices
* Knowledge and experience in the principles and practices of libraries with particular emphasis on technology and customer service issues in large, complex multi branch libraries
* Experience in the delivery of library services in a public library or school environment
Key Selection Criteria: Proven experience in a customer centric leadership role
Knowledge of the key principles and practices of joint use libraries for school and community use
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Experience in managing and delivering impactful projects
