About the role: A specialist position within the Operations department, the Digital Operation Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day digital operations of our digital advertising assets.
It will see you monitoring and maintaining the digital infrastructure of JCDecaux Australia's digital advertising assets, ensuring all assets are operational and content is playing properly using the monitoring system and various other operational tools.
A Day in the life will look like: Remote managing and monitoring of digital assets, both reactively and proactively identifying issues.Troubleshooting media players, display screens, and communication devices to keep the advertisement panel showing content properly.Assisting local field teams to prepare and test digital furniture for quality assurance.Compiling and updating procedures, manuals, and instructions relating to digital assets and delivery.Visiting sites as required to troubleshoot when an incident cannot be resolved by field operatives and expert knowledge is needed.Logging detected and reported faults in ticketing systems.Communicating back to internal and external stakeholders on reported faults.Analyzing returned players from the field, repairing, and returning to stock in the warehouse.Assisting with the commissioning of newly installed digital assets.Minimizing screen downtime through active monitoring and response.Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce costs.Managing ad hoc maintenance requests for 3rd parties.About you: You will be someone with demonstrated experience in a technical support role. Experience with Linux operating systems preferred.Experience with computer networking.Understanding of computer hardware components and repair.Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook and Excel.Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecom, or equivalent experience preferred.Experience in a similar monitoring/troubleshooting role of digital components is desirable.At JCDecaux, your wellbeing, health, and safety are our top priority.
